Two catz on the Desktop
In all Petz games, including those made before the introduction of Playscenes proper, you have the option to take your petz to the Desktop. This will cause your petz to wander around your computer screen - whatever is immediately beneath the Petz program (not necessarily the Desktop itself). While this is happening, you cannot actually click on the contents of the computer screen or interact with them - it's more like the game takes a screenshot of your computer screen and makes it into a Playpen background.
Babyz is the only game in the Petz series at all in which you cannot go to the Desktop - in the other, earlier spin-off Oddballz, it is accessible.
